Bangsawan Programmes
Enrolling in a Bangsawan programme offers an enriching journey of self-discovery, artistic growth, cultural appreciation, and personal fulfilment. Opera Academy programmes are designed to foster creativity, boost confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love for the arts and elevate the proficiency of the use of the Malay language.
Programme Module
The respective programmes will consist of 4 terms incorporating Movement, Acting and Music in each term. Each term will consist of 10 weekly sessions designed to enhance participants' proficiency in the Malay language and improve his or her mother tongue language academics in school through immersive theatrical experiences. The programme will culminate with a grand showcase at the end of the fourth term with a mini recital at the end of the second term.
Learning Journeys
Students will have the opportunity to experience global theatre practices, cultures and heritage firsthand through learning journeys, such as visiting theatre groups and attending international performances abroad.
Students participating in the Bangsawan Elite Programme will have the unique opportunity to showcase their talents on the global platform which includes overseas festivals and competitions.
LearnerS' Pathways
The Learners' Pathways for Bangsawan students provides a structured and comprehensive educational journey for individuals interested in pursuing the performing art form.
